The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and capable Case Management Developer to join our IT team, reporting directly to the ICT Manager. This individual will be responsible for the ongoing development of the Firm’s new case management system, Partner for Windows (P4W); ensuring that change requests are assessed and implement promptly, working towards bespoke and dedicated enhancements to the system for each of our specialist legal departments. They will also be responsible for process improvement, system upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of the system.
Along with excellent programming skills and experience, the successful candidate must be familiar with the specific requirements and nuances associated with working in a law firm and with legal technology.
Requirements:
- Wealth of knowledge in SQL
- Experience of working in law firm
- Experience with case management systems; ideally P4W
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products/macros/VBA
- Some knowledge of visual studio/XAML form development
- Preferable knowledge in html
- Preferably Iron Python experience
- Skills in SSRS reporting
- Used to creating technical design specifications and interpreting business requirements
- Able to work to tight timelines and meet quality best practice coding standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated
This role will be offered as either a permanent placement or fixed-term contract, depending on the preferences of the successful candidate.
