Contract: Community Renewal Fund

Term: Fixed Term untill 31st December 2022

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum

Location: Gwent area (Hybrid, home-working with regular travel in South Wales)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week


This is a Community Renewal Fund project, coordinated by each Local Authority; delivered and managed by Business in Focus. The fund aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK, creating opportunities to trial new approaches and innovative ideas at the local level. 

The aim of the work is to reach people in the community who may be marginalized by their circumstances and are unemployed, economically inactive, under employed and facing additional socio-economic barriers to work. The objective is to promote the possibility of self-employment as an alternative via early pre-start business support and bring people to the point where mainstream Business Support can become relevant.
