Business Development Manager
Location: Remote but ideally based in the Midlands

We have a brand new opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales and Commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of new sales revenues and business opportunities within our newly formed business unit - Audit, Train, Inspect and Control. This new business unit extends the renowned Pyroban brand into wider safety related opportunities with both existing and new customers and end users.
This is a really exciting opportunity for an individual with solid business development cedentials and commercial experience to unlock and develop growth potential within target segments including organic business development and growth through acquisition paths.
Industry related experience, a proficient understanding of Ex certification protocols and experience of hazardous area selling, specification, audit, inspection, installation or consultancy in at least one of the following areas is essential: Pharma, steel, grain, powder, pellets, food or flavours, oil and gas, petrochem, or refinery.
You will need to be self-motivated, target driven, have excellent communication and organisational skills, and high attention to detail along with strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and TEAMS.
Ideally, you will have experience of working in a highly regulated environment and knowledge of explosion protection standards and systems (ATEX, IECEx / EN60079 standards) would be advantageous.
