Field Services Engineer

Location: Field-Based (UK)

For 50 years, Pyroban has been at the forefront of our industry providing explosion protection solutions for materials handling equipment and diesel engines.  We have one clear purpose: to keep people safe in hazardous areas.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our Aftersales and Service team.  As an integral member of the team, you will travel to customer sites to provide intervention support of Pyroban conversions in the field including breakdowns, warranty support, installations, and safety inspections.

In addition to having proven experience in maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and/or other materials handling equipment, you will be a good communicator, have excellent customer relations skills and have a proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach.  A desire to learn and be successful is imperative and you must be able to work independently of others, and as part of a team.  Good IT skills including profiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powepoint is required and experience of using CRM/ERP systems would be desirable. 

As the role is field based, you must hold a full, clean driving licence and be willing to travel and stay away from home on a regular basis. A current valid passport is also required as you may be asked to visit one of our many global customers.

We are flexible in terms of your location within the UK, however, being based in the Midlands would be highly advantageous.
