Job Title:  End Point Assessment Assessor/ IQA  - Rail Technician

Flexible working options travel across the UK

Salary £28K-30K DOE, plus car allowance. 22 days holiday rising by 1 day each January up to 27 days, plus Bank Holidays and 3 days at Christmas.

We’re looking for three End Point Assessment Assessors to join our newly formed team.  You will report to the Operations Manager and all of these positions are a key part to supporting the delivery of End Point Assessment, invigilation and internal quality assurance. These key positions involve ensuring all internal and external regulatory and assessment plan requirements are met by following the EAL EPA internal quality assurance procedures and monitoring the delivery of EPA activities.

To be successful in this role, we will need you to be able to demonstrate that you have

Experience of working with IQA and EQA strategies.

Experience of End Point Assessments.

Experience of Apprenticeship Organisations.

Proven track record of advising and supporting in the aforementioned arena’s.

Have a willingness to travel across the UK.

Have relevant and current rail knowledge and recent rail experience including working practices in one or more of the following disciplines of the occupational area of the apprenticeship standard – Electrification, Overhead Lines, Telecoms, Rail Systems, Signalling, Track, Traction, & Rolling Stock.

Have experience of reviewing, assessing and verifying evidence and any supporting documentation to confirm achievement of qualifications/apprenticeships.

Are D32, D33, A1 or Level 3 TAQA Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent experience of Assessing.

Are D34 , V1 or TAQA L4 or have a willingness to work towards this qualification.

Can demonstrate current and relevant occupational working knowledge and expertise, at the relevant level of the occupational area(s).

Understand the sector, apprenticeship standard and the assessment requirements for this Standard, together with the expertise to administer/operate the Assessment Tools, technologies and working practices within it.
