About the role 

It’s an exciting time at Enginuity as we continue with our business transformation and really begin to focus on putting customers at the heart of what we do.  We are delivering an ambitious Programme Roadmap that began in 2021, which will further transform our business and the experience of our customers and will map into our Strategic goals and vision for the next 3 years. 

What you’ll be doing

You will be an experienced and skilled Business Analyst able to support a number of in-flight, high priority projects amidst a changing landscape. Providing business analytics across a number of projects simultaneously, you will have experience of conducting business analysis and working flexibly across multiple projects simultaneously using waterfall, agile (Scrum) methodologies. You will be predominately carrying out process mapping across the business to support the transformation projects.

  • Business process improvement - user story and use-case development, applying lean optimisation techniques

External Quality Assurer (EQA) – Engineering 

Full Time – 35 hours per week

About the role 

This key role will manage a suite of centres where you will be responsible for externally quality assuring EAL products and services across the Engineering sector; ensuring they are being delivered in line with required quality standards, regulatory requirements and EAL centre recognition requirements and policies. The role comes with great benefits including flexible working - home based. Once covid restrictions are lifted the role will include national travel, with car allowance included.

What you’ll be doing

Whilst skills are important and rightly so, this role also demands innovation and a customer focussed mind-set.  We are one team, regardless of the role you do, and we all play a part in our collective success.  

We’re looking for someone who has previous experience of working as an Engineer with industry background and has held an active position of Internal Quality Assurer.

As you will be a key interface between EAL and its customers you will need to build strong relationships by understanding your centres’ business objectives, needs and challenges and use this knowledge and your excellent customer service skills to continue to support and grow the business to ensure EAL is their Awarding Organisation of choice.

You will be someone who can demonstrate your excellent customer skills and have experience of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll also be comfortable communicating using a wide range of electronic media and be open to continuous development.

The role will require you to complete your EQA Award qualifications as part of your Continuous Professional Development (CPD) ensuring occupational knowledge is constantly up to date to carry out effective External Quality Assurance activities.

Role person specification

•Occupational competence with demonstrable experience as an Engineer as minimum

•At least one of the following: A recognised apprenticeship related to Engineering, a Level 3 NVQ related to Engineering or equivalent, a degree related to Engineering, an NVQ Diploma in Engineering, or a Level 3 or Apprenticeship in Engineering

•Recent Experience of working in the Engineering 

•Previous experience and sound knowledge of S/NVQs/Employers Units of Competence’s and / or VRQ’s assessment

•Hold A1 & V1 or D Unit equivalence with CPD evidence in relation to nationally recognised standards set by Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK), such as LLUK units 001-005

•Held the position of Internal Quality Assurer within a Centre and have experience of working with Quality Assurance processes

•Willing to travel across the UK and hold a full driving licence

 

Other skills which would be desirable however not needed to apply for the role

If you are qualified as an EQA, have had previous involvement in or knowledge of T levels and you understand the Welsh language.

About the role 

The End Point Assessment (EPA) Coordinator role sits in EAL, which is the qualification and skills delivery arm of the Enginuity Group.  This important role is responsible for an effective and efficient EPA service to apprentices, employers and training providers.  This includes dealing with initial enquiries, processing EPA bookings and collating and communicating results, working closely with the Coordination and Compliance Manager to deliver Exemplary Customer Service in line with established procedures. 

What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for delivering an effective and efficient EPA service to apprentices, employers, and training providers.  This includes dealing with customer enquiries, processing EPA bookings, and collating and communicating results. You will need to work closely with the Coordination and Compliance Manager and the delivery teams to deliver excellent customer service in line with established procedures which are compliant with the Apprenticeship Standard Assessment Plans.  

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is a great team player, who can equally work on the own in a remote working environment. You will have strong administrative skills, ideally in a fast-paced environment who can multitask across different projects throughout the day. You will have great communication skills, speaking to internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong IT skills, particularly using Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.  We are looking for someone who is a quick learner and that can use their initiative to work through the coordinating tasks as required.

Other skills which would be desirable however not needed to apply for the role

If you have previous experience working within a sector skills organisation this would be an advantage.

We have an exciting opportunity for a enthusiastic and innovative Marketing Manager to join our friendly and creative Brand and Communications team supporting EAL and Enginuity.  

As the Marketing Manager for EAL you will play an important role in growing brand awareness and increasing association with key brand values – heritage, quality and innovation.   You will be responsible for increasing sales of our products by growing demand among various audiences – learners, employers, training providers, colleges. 

As the Marketing Manager for the Enginuity Group you will play an important role in growing brand awareness and engagement ahead of the launch of a suite of services that will win externally funded contracts (from funding bodies or employers).  This is an integral part of achieving the organisation’s charitable objectives as well as business development. 

What you’ll be doing

As the Marketing Manager you will be customer focused treating internal stakeholders as customers and relying on client management skills to ensure objectives are met in line with the strategies.  You will be contributing to the annual marketing plan and managing the digital strategy and associated budget.  You will be working with the wider marketing team to develop a marketing mix which includes balance between advertorial, editorial and advertising in strategically identified outlets, identifying strategically important events; managing attendance and speaking opportunities which maximise commercial success and brand exposure.

You will be responsible for developing business cases for programmatic and tactical marketing efforts, as well as clear campaign and delivery metrics; developing an informed understanding of the marketplace as well as establishing marketing intelligence processes and systems for monitoring the market, competitors, and carrying out effective distribution of market insight to the internal community. 

What we’re looking for

This role requires an individual who can evidently meet professional marketing competencies set out by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.  You will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field and a CIM qualification for Marketing Managers or recognised equivalent.  You will be a member of a recognised professional body for marketing with the ability to create digital assets, from social media banners and graphics, through to blogs and SEO content and the ability to undertake copywriting.  You will have the ability to create and deliver sales and marketing assets which promote the brand as well as products and services.   You will have demonstrable experience in developing and implementing a social media strategy with a demonstrated track record on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets that are significant in company outreach can be invaluable.

You will have strong written, design and creative skills with the ability of delivering an outstanding client management experience.   You will be a strong, effective communicator, and exhibit effectiveness in holding conversations with customers, customer evangelism, and customer-focused product development and outreach.

About the role 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Developer to join our growing Enterprise Team within the Enginuity Group.  The Senior Software Developer is key to our business, providing unique and compelling insights and services to our customers by leveraging data science and analytics. This is an opportunity to really make a difference to the strategy for the next wave of product features and system capabilities and establishing Enginuity as an expert on engineering and people skills.    

 

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for building, testing, and deploying data-rich, customer-facing products and projects, creating software that adheres to best practices and collaborating with the Solution Architect and data specialists, to ensure that cloud-hosted applications and services are delivered meet functional and non-functional requirements.

 

What we’re looking for

You will have demonstrable experience of using Typescript with a client-side framework, either Angular or React, to build Web front ends. A proven track record of development using.Net Core and C# for backend development. Knowledge of securing and configuring App Services hosting APIs and Applications using OAuth and Key Vault.  Experience of writing unit, integration and BDD tests, mocking, and code quality tooling as well as broad experience consuming and authoring REST APIs, in microservices and event driven architectures. 

You will have strong analytical, critical, and creative skills with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.  You will have proven experience of developing strong, credible business relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as excellent planning and organising skills with a can-do- attitude and a solution focused approach.  

 

Other skills which would be desirable however not needed to apply for the role

If you have a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, Industry accreditation “Microsoft Certified”, strong experience of Azure Serverless, including Azure API Management and Azure Integration Services and or experience of API development using Open API/Swagger this would be an advantage.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Commercial and Advisory to join Enginuity.   Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer - Enginuity, you will lead on facilitating financial growth through increased revenue from charitable project delivery and commercial projects.

The role is a newly created leadership role within the Enginuity team and you will join the team to drive the ambitious growth plans for Enginuity. 

About You

You will be responsible for leading customer engagement and delivering their specific needs through the use, and customisation, of our products.  Our product range includes the creation of digital learning games, compilation of skills taxonomy, foresighting of future skills needs and curation of curricula to deliver the skills needs. 

You will be responsible for the entire customer journey, from gathering requirements and agreeing commercial terms, delivering technical requirements to the product team, using our products as a service, and delivering high quality outcomes
