Digital Product Owner 

Permanent 

Full-Time: 35 hours per week

Salary in the region of £45,000 - £55,000 DOE + benefits package (including pension, 25 days paid holiday per annum and bank holidays plus 3 days for company shutdown over Christmas and New Year)

About the role 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Product Owner to join Enginuity Group. The position will sit within our Enterprise team. Our Enterprise team are on a mission to create insight into the engineering skills landscape, providing an overview of the skills needed today and tomorrow through expert use of data. Our team help to inspire young people to consider a career in engineering through increasing awareness on the breadth of the sector and deliver educational games that make learning fun. 

 

What you’ll be doing

Developing business cases that underpin product strategy, with clear definition of opportunity, costs and value. Translating client objectives into clearly articulated epics, features and user stories, ensuring teams understand the overall client objective and how the product will be built in line with our own strategic objectivesBuild and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring that features are scoped and support the short-term and long-term vision, and associated KPIs. Build and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring that features are scoped and support the short-term and long-term vision, and associated KPIs. Work closely with developers and testers to remove ambiguity, and elaborate on user stories, ensuring that there is a clear acceptance criteria and definition of done. 

 

What we’re looking for

You will be an innovative individual who can create a vision and bring people along with you. You will be a team player working with multiple teams across the business and co-ordinating with third parties and clients. You will have epeirenced of working within in Agile environment. You may have had experience with tools including: Jira, Confluence, Trello, DevOps, Visio, Azure and Lucid Chart. 

 

Other skills which would be desirable however not needed to apply for the role

If you have experience of working in a similar role in an Awarding Organisation/Education environment and or have an engineering or manufacturing background this would be an advantage. Have a relevant Product Owner/Product Manager qualification. Educated to degree level in an IT or Business qualifcation
