Description of role:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Purchasing team as a Junior Administrator.
The Purchasing group have full responsibility for procurement of all goods and services and provide Stores/goods-in, Travel & Transport services to the UK business.
The role involves Administrative duties for the whole team to ensure the delivery of excellent service to the business. The position requires a flexible, proactive approach and the ability to communicate positively with staff, customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities include the following:
•Dealing with general Purchasing telephone / email queries.
•Data input onto the TWI system.
•Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases
•Expediting orders with suppliers.
•Issuing specifications for quotations
•Completing general administration duties
•Administrative assistance and cover for Stores and Travel & Transport teams
