About Us:

Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting is the world’s only movement for every girl and any girl because we believe that each of them deserves to be the best they can be. In safe, local spaces, girls develop the skills and attitudes to change themselves, their communities and our world.

The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is the largest global Movement dedicated to girls and young women – representing 10 million girls and young women across 150 countries and with an extensive network of 1.5 million volunteers – through this network we deliver life-changing programmes at scale.

We aim to make sure girls feel confident, resilient and empowered to take the lead in their lives, ready to drive change on the issues that matter to them, their community and the world around them.

Job Purpose:

This is a key role within a mixed discipline team including fundraisers and programme/membership specialists. The Fundraising Manager will focus on both new business and account management.

With new business the role will be required to generate income from new corporate partnerships that are aligned to WAGGGS vision and purpose. With account management, the role will build on existing and longstanding partnerships, co-creating new initiatives to generate a significant uplift in income.

The role is primarily responsible for making a recognisable contribution towards the partnership team’s overall income target/budget. The team has been created in order to work closely with the 150 Member Organisations from around the world to understand their needs and ambitions for girls and young women in their countries.

Working with both new and existing donors, this role will seek to generate new income that can help our Member Organisations to achieve these ambitions and so enable life-changing opportunities for girls and young women around the world.
