Senior Events Project Manager

Fixed term 1 year contract - Jan 2023 - Dec 2023

Salary: £29,915 - £35,191

5 days, 37.5 hours per week

Location: Witney (40% office based / 60% working from home)

Open Doors is a Christian charity that is looking to recruit active, practicing Christians to stand in the GAP (give, act, pray) on behalf of persecuted Christians worldwide. Hostility, violence, and abuse of Christians around the globe is on the increase. Open Doors works in over 50 countries to ensure that those facing such persecution are not forgotten, but are strengthened in their faith, to remain strong and resilient in the face of persecution continuing to share Jesus no matter the cost.

We’re seeking to appoint an experienced, Senior Events Project Manager, who can hit the ground running and will be responsible and accountable for leading teams to deliver complex projects and programmes, ensuring that project scope and plan are credible, measurable, and setup to deliver agreed outcomes and strategic objectives within the Strategic Relations directorate as well as cross directorate initiatives.

You will?be the strategic lead in delivering some the most complex event projects from end to end with the ability to comprehend the vision and idea, capture in a brief and creatively solve what’s required from stakeholders; delivering through multiple suppliers and teams, whilst always ensuring we communicate most effectively,?professionally, and personably the realities?of the persecuted church.
