We are growing and looking to build our successful, highly reputable Construction and Commercial Contract team and welcome applications from contentious construction solicitors who have up to date knowledge of and experience in construction law and practice and detailed knowledge and understanding of the Construction Act. We can consider newly qualified candidates and applicants will ideally have up to 3 years PQE.

The Team

Our team has extensive experience in all manner of construction disputes, from complex claims running into the hundreds of millions of pounds to straightforward enforcement proceedings on adjudication decisions. Our solicitors are highly experienced in all forms of dispute resolution, including mediation, litigation, expert determination and arbitration. We have a particular expertise in adjudication.

Our team is extremely familiar with and regularly advises on all standard form construction contracts, including JCT, NEC, PPC, FIDIC, ICE and GC/Works. We are highly experienced in all forms of the JCT and NEC family, with a particular focus on JCT DB and NEC Options A and C. The breadth of our client base and the variety of projects that we advise on means that we are at the cutting edge of market practice, with a detailed and practical understanding of how standard form contracts and ancillary documents are used and amended to achieve diverse and varying outcomes.
