Software Test Analyst II

Calrom is a dynamic, growing company developing advanced pricing, booking, management, & ticketing engines for the travel industry. Our solutions are delivered to our customers as SAAS solutions hosted within our own virtualized server infrastructure from datacentres in the UK and Australia, providing robust and scalable service offerings. Our applications are developed using the Microsoft .NET application stack.

As we continue grow and therefore need to deliver more applications to more customers, it is imperative that we step up to the next level with our application quality assurance of which testing is a key contributor. 

Skills & experience required

  • Experience in Airline reservation systems is mandatory
  • Strong Testing Concepts
  • Bug-tracking/Defect-Management using YouTrack
  • Cross-browser, application system, user experience, UI Testing
  • Embracing a collaborative approach with other IT dept teams including developers, project managers, business analysts etc.
  • Using appropriate methods such as stress, performance, functional and usability testing to fully test and QA new and modified software.
  • Ensuring appropriate, effective project testing phases are planned and implemented - writing and executing test plans and scripts and running manual and automated tests.
  • Providing factual, documented feedback to software development and project teams.
  • Providing clear feedback of testing results to technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Deep understanding of technology and being able to deploy it to meet expectations
  • Able to learn new and enhance current processes
  • Experience in a build and release role in Azure DevOps, Teamcity and Octopus tools
