Role: Flight Operations Specialist
Reports to: Flights Team Leader
Job Purpose: To effectively sell and service bookings on our airline partners booked through travel organisations or direct consumers either via the telephone, email or internet and manage the bookings effectively. To provide a friendly and efficient service to external and internal customers, thus helping to drive sales, hit budgets and deliver profits.
The department operates between the hours of 8:00am and 7:00pm, Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday. The breakdown of your normal hours of work will be by agreement with your manager on a shift basis and you cover 1 Saturday in 4.
To service all enquiries & bookings to company standards
To adhere to all airline deadlines and terms and conditions
To understand agents/ operators flight needs and advise on appropriate solutions
To work with the Team Leader and Marketing department to drive growth in ticket sales
