Job Purpose: 

The Travel Agent Partnerships Department offer package sales through a variety of channels to travel businesses and Travel Agents.  

The primary purpose of this role is to effectively sell and service mainly package bookings, helping to drive sales, hit targets and deliver profits. You will create exceptional travel experiences for our clients. With access to a varied product range alongside access to our in-house contracted properties and third party suppliers, your clients will travel to experience the best of the world.

As a Travel Consultant, you will take calls from travel agents and tour operators and deal with a range of queries and requests. This will include booking itineraries involving ground or cruise accommodation as well as other ground and flight elements, commission & VAT queries, taking balance payments and making changes to bookings. 

The department operates between the hours of 8am and 7pm, Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 3.00pm on Saturday. The breakdown of your normal hours of work will be by agreement with your manager on a shift basis and you cover 1 Saturday in 4.
