About Fashion & Retail Awards
Fashion & Retail Awards provides trusted assessment services to the retail industry. As an independent offshoot of the Fashion Retail Academy, we have educational excellence and industry responsiveness at our core.
We have launched an End-Point Assessment offer; this service will be extended over time, as directed by our partners in industry and our independent board. All proceeds from our services are re-invested into the Fashion Retail Academy charity, which aims at inspiring and developing the next generation of talent.
About the role
We are looking for Independent Assessors, who have first-hand occupational experience and a firm grip of best practice in assessment, to conduct assessment activities and arrive at fair, consistent, and impartial grading decisions. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to broaden their existing assessment experience and become a key contributor to the quality of our service.
About you
For success in this role, you will need to be uncompromising in the balanced application of assessment standards, be able to apply and evidence independence of judgement, and bring integrity to your approach. This means working positively with clients and candidates to guide them through their assessment experience, escalating potential improvements to the way we do things, and producing robust feedback to candidates.
This role would suit individuals with relevant, current, or ongoing industry experience and experience of making grading judgements and applying assessment frameworks.
We are initially looking for people with hands-on experience relevant to the following standards:
Please note that this role is a remote / home-based role for L3 to L6 standard end-point assessments. For the L2 Retailer standard, travel to relevant employer sites / training providers would be required.
