Part-Time (0.5 fraction / 18.5 hours a week)
Competitive, subject to qualifications and experience

We are looking for an experienced practitioner in user interface and user experience design to teach our brand new online level 4 UXUI course to adults!

The role requires the successful candidate to be able to communicate a broad range of industry-relevant skills and knowledge to deliver the qualification. The course is taught wholly online and requires an evening teaching commitment on a Tuesday evening and twilight support via tutorials, both group and 1:1, as well as supporting industry mentoring and forums, on a Wednesday and Thursday evening.

As the Group Lead, you will be responsible, with the support of our Digital Learning Co-ordinator, for the development of weekly interactive, audio-visual learning resources to support directed learning ready for the live taught session. Students will receive the resources on a Friday via our bespoke CANVAS site ready for class on a Tuesday.

The course teaches students the fundamental functions of UXUI; this is a brand new course written in partnership with endorsement from industry.

A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification would be highly desirable but not essential for a highly passionate applicant with credible industry experience looking to get into teaching. Experience of online delivery in some capacity, preferably teaching, is a must. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an innovative and open-minded approach to curriculum design and development. The successful candidate will also be able to work flexibly given the nature of the course.

If you wish to chat to someone more about the role before submitting an application, we would be delighted to speak to you. Please contact recruitment@fra.ac.uk.

Please note that this role is a remote / online teaching position, however there will occasionally be times that you are required on-site at the FRA (London, West End) for CPD and training.

If you are interested in joining a dynamic and expanding environment to further develop your career, then we would love to hear from you!
