About the role
To support our ambitious and ongoing expansion and diversification plans, we have an exciting opportunity available to join our expanding team as a Programme Manager for our new Online Learning Provision.
The Programme Manager – Online Provision will be a key member of the Curriculum Delivery Team, providing day-to-day management and leadership of our online Group Leaders and Digital Learning Co-ordinator. The Programme Manager will be responsible for the currency of all courses assigned and the quality and performance of teaching and learning to deliver the best possible student experience and outcomes.
Our online learning provision is designed to offer flexible learning opportunities to students wishing to pursue professionally relevant learning to support career progression. The Programme Manager will be required to work in the evening to both support live learning provision and to manage student-centred learning activities. This is a new area of business for the college and an area for forecast growth, it is expected that the number of courses will increase, and the Programme Manager will be instrumental in this.
About you
You will have demonstrable knowledge and skills relating to highly effective online learning and be able to evidence your success in this area.
The successful candidate will have a teaching qualification and experience of teaching online (preferably students who are 18+) as well as operational managerial experience within an educational setting.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has effective and innovative curriculum design and programme management skills, with up-to-date knowledge of their subject area and adult professional education. You must have great communication and organisational skills, as well as good IT, digital and administrative abilities.
The successful candidate will have effective team leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coach our Group Lead Lecturers, whilst showing clear management and leadership of the area. In addition, you must have the confidence and proficiency to work with remote/online delivery.

Salary:
Circa £38,000 - £40,000 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience
