About the role

We have an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant & Cover Tutor to join our dedicated FE team, and play a key part in the provision of a professional, high quality, effective and efficient learning support to students undertaking our Fashion Design and Fashion Retail qualifications, from Level 2 to Level 4.

The role will significantly contribute to the day-to-day support for students in their learning. The primary focus of the role is to provide classroom support to the Group Lead Lecturers and course teams to enable an exceptional course experience for our learners, as well as ensuring they achieve outstanding outcomes, educationally and personally.

The successful candidate will have a high commitment to supporting learning, as well as a flexible and multi-skilled approach.

Team working, as well as an ability and drive to support the learning and development of students, regardless of their starting points, are important aspects of the role.
The post holder is also required to be flexible in their approach to duties depending upon patterns of need in teaching, as the role will be varied and change daily to reflect curriculum need.

Previous experience of working in a similar role, as well as experience and/or in depth knowledge of working within fashion business retail and/or fashion design is desirable.

Please note, this role will be based at the Fashion Retail Academy in London, Tottenham Court Road.
