We have a fantastic opportunity for a Careers Coach Advisor to join our dedicated Careers Service Team.
The Careers Coach Advisor will be responsible for providing impartial Careers education information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) to support service users to make realistic choices about their further education pathway, suitable careers, Apprenticeships or T-Levels in fashion retail. The role will involve advising students on how to use all types of medium to promote themselves and their skills. This includes how to write a professional CV, cover letter and personal statement, using LinkedIn and other tools for recruitment, education and training. A key part of the role will be to support a specific provision of study and our current and future Alumni.
The Careers Coach Advisor will provide a high-quality administrative support service for the Careers Service Team, maintaining accurate records and data. The role will work closely with both Academic and Support Services to ensure effective cross-departmental relationships that aid the successful achievement of the Careers Service and offer the Best Imaginable experience for our students.
The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience of working in the Fashion Retail industry as well as an understanding of University and FE College processes in relation to progression. You must have public speaking and presentation skills and an understanding of the Gatsby benchmarks.
The successful candidate will have good administrative and IT skills and be proficient in analysing and managing data. You must possess good interpersonal skills and be able to build strong relationships with students, other colleagues and industry partners. This role would suit a compassionate and empathetic individual with excellent listening skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
