Programme Manager Higher Education (HE)

About the role 

We have an exciting opportunity available for a qualified and experienced academic to join our expanding Higher Education team as a Programme Manager. In this position you will help to support our ambitious and on-going expansion and diversification plans.  

The Programme Manager will lead, manage and develop an expanding teaching programme, comprised of multiple industry relevant courses, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth. You will take pride in ensuring every student receives the highest quality of teaching, learning and feedback and ultimately, successfully preparing them for roles in industry.? As the Programme Manager you will advise and guide the FRA on the latest industry changes, to ensure their courses stay current and industry relevant, as well as taking a lead role in the creation and delivery of new courses. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have advanced knowledge and previous experience of teaching and curriculum development within a Higher Education environment as well as substantial and relevant fashion industry professional experience. Ideally you will have experience within Higher Education in the Creative industries and/or related subject area. 

You will hold a creative view point on teaching at undergraduate level and hold key skills such as organisation and management, and quality and enhancement in learning and teaching within Higher Education.  

Having a good understanding of the fashion industry, its structure, key functions and the factors affecting its development and sustainability will help set you up for success in this role!

In this role you will have the ability to strategically plan a programme of activity, ensuring its constant review and improvement, while keeping course relevant and up to date with industry change. Adopting a holistic approach when implementing change will be critical, ensuring all degrees within the programme and all areas of the student journey are suitably aligned. 

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to make impact with your exceptional leadership and management skills. This will be key to instil a culture of continuous improvement in every aspect of the programme, as well as role model teaching and learning best practice at all times.?

Salary  

Circa £50,320 - £57,868 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience
