Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.
Full-Time - 39 hours (1.05 FTE), 5 days per week. 4 days on site and one remote admin day.
Part-Time - 19.5 hours (0.525 FTE), 2.525 days per week. 2 days on site and a half remote admin day.

About the role 

The Lecturer - Group Lead is responsible for delivering the best imaginable teaching, learning and assessment experience for our students on our Level 3 Visual Communications & Styling course.  

Our Level 3 Visual Communications & Styling for Fashion course teaches our students to create visual stories for fashion media that engage consumers and transform fashion products into must-have trend pieces.

As Group Lead, you will lead and develop successful and innovative pedagogy, with a focus on high standards and best possible student outcomes. You will be accountable for the success of the students in your groups and support, challenge and stretch their achievements. Successful candidates for this role will be able to deliver hands on practical learning as well as the relevant theory and context. 

It is not essential to have a PGCE/teaching qualification, or experience of teaching in a further educational setting, however this would be beneficial. The calibre of professional experience applicants bring is critical and therefore, we also welcome applications from those with strong industry experience who are hugely passionate and dedicated to commencing a career in teaching.  

About you 

  • You will have a multi-disciplinary background and in-depth knowledge of the best Learning, Teaching, Assessment and Feedback practices or have expert, contemporary industry knowledge. 
  • You will be creative and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • You will have an innovative and open-minded approach to curriculum design and development. 
  • You will have outstanding current knowledge of subject areas and Fashion Retail landscape. 
  • You will have teaching experience within an educational setting (ideally Post-16) or willingness to complete a teaching qualification course upon appointment. 
  • In addition, you must be committed to the development and progression of all learners.

Salary: 

Full-Time - From £34,020 to £37,800 per annum (FTE 1.05)
Part-Time - From £17,010 to £18,900 per annum (FTE 0.525)
