Outreach Worker 

Contract term: 12 Months fixed term 

Basic salary of £22,000 per annum, rising to £23,500 per annum. Additional benefits of generous holiday package, healthcare scheme, contributory pension scheme and more. Starting Total Reward Package, up to, £24,500 per annum.

ACT School’s has established this exciting new Outreach Worker role and will initially be a fixed term position for a year. We have 2 positions available and you will be a core member of the outreach team who’s focus will be on engaging young people in the community in order to reengage them within education.

The role will involve working with young people exhibiting negative, disruptive or risk-taking behaviour – such as those involved in unhealthy relationships, vulnerable to drug or alcohol use, or teen parenthood, as well as those who have experienced violence, and victimisation and are displaying signs of disengaging with their communities who are/on brink of the Criminal Justice System.

You will be required to work closely with teaching staff and Centre Managers to ensure that a whole school approach is taken in supporting our learners

The role covers both Caerphilly and Cardiff school sites and you will be reporting to the Centre Managers and Head of 11-16 Education.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
