Senior HR (People & Development) Officer

Basic salary of £27,000 per annum, rising to £28,500 per annum. Additional benefits of generous holiday package (over 40 days a year), healthcare scheme, death in service cover, contributory pension scheme and more. Starting Total Reward Package, up to, £30,000 per annum rising to £31,500.

This is a fast-paced, generalist senior HR role within a busy, proactive HR team. You will contribute towards the achievement of company objectives through the effective support, development and management of people. You will manage, develop and ensure compliance with company HR processes and employment legislation providing full support, advice and guidance to all line managers and staff within ACT and ALS Training (group company – Apprenticeship Provider).

ACT Training has a headcount of 360 and ALS Training has a headcount of 62.


The role is normally based at ACT’s Head Office in Ocean Park House, Cardiff and fits within the People & Development (P&D) Team, reporting to the Head of P&D. Due to the current situation, the role is currently predominantly home-based with a view to a mix of office/home working in the future.
