Additional Learning Support (ALS) Worker

Basic salary starting at £18,500 rising to £20,000 per annum pro rata. Additional benefits of generous holiday package, contributory pension scheme and more. Starting Total Reward Package, up to £22,000 per annum pro rata.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will support learners who are statemented or have additional learning needs across centres. In particular you will assist with young people (age ranges between 16 – 19 years old) who are completing Traineeship programmes or route specific qualifications.

The role involves providing one-to-one support to learners in order for them to fully participate in all training activities and places focus on the development of their confidence and independence.

The role is of a peripatetic nature with support offered multi-site and fits within the Traineeship Team, reporting to the Learner Support & Additional Learning Needs Manager.

Support within locations may change from time to time based on learner needs.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required as some travel is to be expected.
