Systems Developer

Contract term: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 37 hours

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: ACT Head Office & Skills Centre, Cardiff (currently hybrid working – 3/2 split)

Salary: £37,000 rising up to £40,250 per annum.

We are looking for a Software Developer to build and implement functional programs. You will work with other Developers during the software development life cycle.

In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. Your goal will be to build efficient programs and systems that serve user needs.

The role is based at ACT Head Office & Skills Centre, Cardiff, however the role is currently hybrid working with a 3/2 split. You will work in a small team, which includes a senior developer who will support with the role when required. You will be reporting to Digital Development Manager.

ACT is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and whilst it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
