HR Manager (fixed term maternity cover)

Chiene + Tait is an award-winning, independent chartered accountancy firm of over 140 staff and 13 partners with an enviable 130-year heritage.

We are looking for a HR Manager to join our management team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. The role is reporting directly to the Managing Partner and involves working closely with all department partners, you will oversee HR for the firm working with the HR Officer.  Your responsibilities will also include acting as line manager for the Personal Assistant team of 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for a generalist HR practitioner to continue to deliver and develop our HR strategy whilst covering an advisory case load. This is a wide-ranging role, covering everything from recruitment to training, administration to policy development. It will suit an energetic individual who enjoys the demands of a professional environment with a strong emphasis on quality. You should be self-motivated and will be expected to initiate projects that will benefit the firm.

We are looking for an experienced and tenacious HR professional who can provide strategic insight on people matters for the partner group, whilst managing a small team and busy workload.
