Our dynamic Policy and Advocacy team is looking to incorporate new volunteers into our ongoing work on responding policy developments, coordinating our training and resource development for health professionals. If you are passionate about access to healthcare and enjoy working in health policy area, we would like to hear from you!

In this volunteer role you will enable Doctors of the World UK to maximise its influence and impact in the UK on health policy debates and practice by translating its experience here and abroad into public policy briefings and through external policy and advocacy networks that seek to advance the right to health. You will support the Safe Surgeries Programme to improve access to primary care by supporting better GP registration policies for the most excluded patients living in their communities. The role will be tailored to meet the policy/project needs as required as well as your interests and strengths.

Those with lived experience of migration, the asylum system, homelessness or exclusion from health services are encouraged to apply.
